AquaResource Registration

Registration may be completed on either a computer or a mobile device

  • Tips: If you don’t see the results you are expecting try refreshing the page
  • Allow the sie to use your location
  • MS Explorer is not supported
  1. Go to https://backflow.tecnxs.com
  2. Click the Register Tab and fill out all of the required information signified by the green dots
  3. When entering a password please follow these rules
    1. Minimum 8 characters
    2. At least one uppercase characters
    3. At least one number
    4. At least one special character
  1. Add a certification class attended or a valid license you hold
    1. Stay on the Certification tab or click the License tab based on the credential you are adding to your registration
    2. For either tab fill out all of the required information signified by the green dots
    3. Upload a picture of your certificate or license to prove you are a qualified backflow tester/installer. Do this by dropping a picture of your certificate or license on HERE or use the browse button to Take Photo, use Photo Library or Browse
  2. Accept the Terms & Conditions
  3. Click Register

Finish the Registration process

  1. Check the email account you registered with for a verification email from . Check the Spam folder if you have not recieved verifcation. Click the link on the email to verify your email address. The AquaResource login page should open automatically. If it does not go to https://backflow.tecnxs.com
  2. Stay on the Login tab then use the email address and password you registered with to Login to AquaResource
  3. With a successful Login, the Purveyor page opens. Click the Request Access button and a search window opens.
  4. In the “Search for Purveyor” box, type in the name of the purveyor who’s jurisdiction you will be working. A successful search will display one or more purveyors. Select a purveyor
  5. The purveyor will be notified and allowed to review the certificate and/or license attached to your profile
  6. You will receive an email when the purveyor approves or declines your access request. Check your Spam folder
    1. If your registration is declined a reason will be stated. Please call the purveyor directly to resolve the problem
  7. Once approved you can submit backflow tests in that purveyor’s jurisdiction

Testers Using AquaResource

  1. Go to https://backflow.tecnxs.com
  2. Stay on the Login tab then use the email address and password you registered with to login to AquaResource
  3. A successful login to the system will:
    1. If you are registered with only One purveyor you will be taken directly to that Purveyor
    2. If you are registered with Multiple purveyors click on the purveyor within whose jurisdiction you will be working

HOME

  1. Search for Customer Search or Search for Backflow
    1. Search for Customer: Enter a customer name, address or account number
      1. TIP: Entering 5 plus characters works the best
    2. Search for Backflow: Enter the exact serial number of the backflow
      1. TIP: An Exact serial number match is required to return the backflow being searched

Customers

  1. Customers: Customer Search:
    1. Enter customer name, address or account number
      1. TIP: Entering 5 plus characters works the best
    2. A successful customer search will return one or more results.
      1. Click on the Customer whose backflow you are going to test

Backflows

  1. Backflows: Backflow Search:
    1. Enter the exact serial number of the backflow
    2. If the backflow bearing that serial number exists in the system it will be displayed
  1. NOTE: Some purveyors may require a picture(s) of the onsite backflow to be uploaded to the system before a backflow test can be submitted. Backflow pictures are easily uploaded from a mobile device
  2. NOTE: Some purveyors may require a GPS pin to be dropped on the location of the backflow before a test can be submitted. Use the “GPS Locate Backflow” button to place a pin on the backflow within the site. Allow AquaResource to access your location. The GPS pin can be moved independently of the map by placing a finger on it and sliding.
